The multi-talented pianist Ric'key Pageot has recorded another rarely performed gem for Steinway & Sons; a Scherzo nicknamed "The Cuckoo" by African American composer Howard Swanson (1907-1978). While rooted in the classical tradition, Swanson’s music imbues Jazz and other African American styles.
