The
ArkivCD program was created to establish a home for the thousands of recordings that are now out-of-print, some never previously released on CD. These discs are available again, manufactured by ArkivMusic, under license from the original record labels.
More recently, the catalog also includes new recordings that are exclusively available in the US through ArkivMusic.
In addition to a catalog of over 10,000 classical releases, the ArkivCD program also includes a selection of otherwise-hard-to-find original cast albums, soundtracks, and more.
